Born and raised in the province of Quebec, Canada, Myriam Phiro has many chords to her arc. Graduated from the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in NYC, with a musical theatre conservatory degree, she ranges from a seductive and elegant jazz singer to an energetic swingdancer, passing through a classical theatrical play in a heartbeat! As a woman of many interests (see below for her specialization), she thought her best bet was to study the predominant 3 spheres of her artistic passion. So she established in nothing else than NYC and decided to get it started. So far so good, she is now working creatively with the Folk-gospel band “The Bliss Jockeys” as one of the 7 members of the strictly-female choir, working as a songstress all around town, as well as planning a wonderful CD release event at renowned “House of Jazz” in Montreal (November 6th) for her first EP: “My Reverie”.
